This two-hour seminar delves into the concepts and the math behind multi-cast and uni-cast streams. You will gain the ability to knowledgeably discuss bandwidth and content delivery methods with the IT manager of a project. A brief overview of networking and IP addressing is presented.

We will explore the simple systems to more elaborate networked solutions. Learn how to discuss and sell networked and non-networked signage solutions to your clients with confidence.

Instructor Paul Streffon, MBA, CTS-D, CTS-I, is an InfoComm Academy Staff Instructor. With more than 25 years in the AV industry, he has worked in many audiovisual areas: production, technical sales and marketing, management, and education. He was the National Sales Manager for Digital Processing Systems, a regional supervisor for Sony Electronics, and Director of Sales for JAVS. Streffon holds an MBA in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Electronics, and an FCC General license. He is also an AV volunteer for his local church community.
